Proposed Projects

The primary component of a Downtown Revitalization Initiative application is a list of potential projects and their associated funding needs. The projects must align with the state's goals for economic development, and should be transformational. The projects should include a mix of public and private projects, that serve an overall community benefit. The DRI, if awarded, provides a maximum of 10 million dollars that would be distributed at various levels among projects that are approved by the state. Typically, these projects are not fully funded state funded, and include a level of local investment.
